Are you an experienced Project Manager who thrives in complex, high-pressure environments? Can you manage really busy people, challenge the red flags, and drive service transformation with data-led decision-making? If so, we want you on board.
The Role
We’re looking for an experienced Project Manager to drive, manage and coordinate several workstreams as we ramp up our logistics operation for the Peak period. Working closely with the Head of Programme Delivery and the COO, utilising data analysis, stakeholder management and critical path planning, you will be responsible for ensuring all elements of delivery are prioritised, sequenced and delivered to schedule.
Key Responsibilities
- Project Delivery: Own and drive major initiatives.
- Stakeholder Management: Engage at all levels from warehouse operatives to C suite.
- Governance & Reporting: Ensure the right governance & reporting is in place including dashboards, KPIs, and measurement frameworks to track daily performance and ensure prioritisation of the risk mitigation approach.
- Service Transformation: Improve the end-to-end service Support operation i.e. (network transformation, loss prevention, unidentified parcels, and cost model optimisation).
- Challenging the Status Quo: Don't be afraid to challenge - If it’s red, challenge it — there’s a reason it’s flagged.
The Ideal Candidate
- Retail and/or Logistics (service) experience
- Final Mile/Courier/Parcel/similar type experience would be ideal.
- Strong project management skills
- Business change & continuous improvement
- Project Governance expertise
- Stakeholder management, comfortable working at all levels
- Data-driven decision-making in operations, and performance management.
- Resilient & confident – able to challenge and drive clarity where needed.
