The Opportunity
We're currently partnering with an incredible, fast-growing international e-commerce brand in their search for a Group Head of Supply Chain (Transformation) for a critical 12-month interim mandate. This is a pure-play Inventory Optimization, Demand Planning, and Team Integration role.
⚠️ Note: If your background is strictly in warehouse layout, 3PL contracts, or physical logistics footprint optimization, this won’t be the right fit. They are explicitly looking for a data-led demand planning and replenishment specialist.
The Brief:
- Drive a 30% Inventory Reduction: You will be tasked with aggressively optimizing stock value across a complex retail matrix (short-shelf-life items) while maintaining flawless product availability. Note: 80% of this value sits in the UK.
- Untangle the Tech (Slim4): The UK team implemented Slim4 nine months ago. You will bring immediate best-practice expertise to upscale how the team utilizes the tool for algorithmic forecasting.
- Unify an International Team: You will bring the UK and Netherlands supply chain teams together into a single, cohesive Group function, aligning their processes and governance.
- Build a Legacy: Your goal is to coach and develop the existing team leads so that by month 12, the unit is entirely self-sufficient, and you can seamlessly hand over the reins to a permanent successor you've helped groom or identify.
About You:
- The Interim Track Record: You are an established interim leader who has successfully delivered massive inventory/working capital reductions within a tight 12-month window.
- The Sector Match: Deep experience in E-commerce, D2C, Retail, or FMCG managing fast-moving replenishment goods.
- The Leadership Style: You are a collaborative coach, not just an analyst. You know how to build cross-functional alignment (specifically working closely with the UK GM, Buying, and Commercial teams) and manage change across different geographic cultures (UK & NL).
How to Apply:
If you are an interim supply chain specialist who loves a complex, high-reward challenge, please apply directly with your CV, or send me a message here on LinkedIn to set up a confidential discussion.
