If you like your days predictable, this isn’t the role for you.
This is a team that thrives on speed, scale, and real-time problem solving. Priorities shift, new challenges pop up, and solutions get built, tested, and shipped fast.
They’re looking for a .NET Developer who jumps in, gets things working, and keeps the platform running smoothly, whether it’s connecting critical systems, optimising performance on the fly, or rolling out new features that impact millions.
What you’ll be doing:
- Develop, maintain, and improve software applications using C#/.NET.
- Write clean, scalable, and maintainable code that stands up in production.
- Debug, troubleshoot, and optimise systems for peak performance.
- Collaborate with Designers, Testers, and Project Managers to deliver quality software.
- Participate in code reviews, share feedback, and champion best practices.
- Follow Agile/Scrum processes, contribute to planning, and estimate timelines.
- Keep up-to-date with emerging technologies and engineering trends.
- Document software design, code, and testing procedures.
- Support end-users and engage with customers when needed.
- Mentor junior developers and help the team grow.
What you’ll bring:
- Commercial experience in .NET and C# development.
- Hands-on experience with Akka.NET for distributed, fault-tolerant systems.
- Strong grasp of OOP principles, design patterns, and scalable architecture.
- Experience with Web Services, WebAPI, WCF, and databases (MySQL, SQL, schema design).
- Familiarity with N-Tier architecture / SOA.
- Unit and functional testing experience.
- Skilled with Git and source control practices.
- Comfortable working in Agile/Kanban environments.
- Attention to detail, strong communication, and team collaboration.
- Proactive and willing to learn new skills — including participating in releases or on-call support.
Why this role is different
- You’ll be part of a team that moves fast, solves real-time challenges, and makes a tangible impact.
- Flexitime and hybrid working mean you get autonomy and balance while working on high-profile projects.
- You’ll join a company where your ideas and contributions actually matter, not just your code.
