- Migrate and re-platform data from legacy systems into the new cloud environment, ensuring accuracy, performance and reliability
- Collaborate with stakeholders to capture requirements and translate them into practical, scalable engineering solutions
- Drive best practice across data engineering, including quality, monitoring, performance optimisation and deployment processes
- Support deployment activities, release planning and operational readiness as the new platform goes live

- Proven experience as a Senior Data Engineer delivering data warehouse modernisation or migration projects
- Strong SQL expertise (advanced querying, optimisation, data modelling concepts)
- Hands-on experience with Databricks and Azure data services in a production environment
- Experience building end-to-end solutions: discovery, design, build, test and deploy
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively across technical and non-technical teams
- A pragmatic approach to problem-solving with a focus on delivering reliable, maintainable solutions
