I’m recruiting for a Lead DBA on behalf of a large, tech-driven organisation that’s actively re-architecting and modernising its database estate following a major platform transformation. They’re looking for a true database technologist — someone Linux-focused, comfortable across multiple database engines, and not wedded to a single technology.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Leading the re-architecture and modernisation of Linux-based database platforms
- Driving stability, scalability and performance
- Automating database operations (CI/CD, IaC, Ansible, Terraform)
- Partnering with engineers to optimise schemas and queries
- Setting standards and mentoring DBAs
What They’re Looking For:
- Strong experience with Linux-based databases
- Broad exposure to Oracle, MySQL, MariaDB, MongoDB (or similar)
