The OpportunityThis is a rare opportunity to leverage your experience in consumer product innovation and leading the development of new AI-powered products and capabilities that help customers identify emerging trends, validate concepts, understand consumer behaviour and accelerate innovation cycles. However, this role extends far beyond traditional product management. You'll play a critical role in defining how products are positioned, commercialised and taken to market. Working closely with customers, commercial teams and leadership, you'll help shape both product strategy and go-to-market execution. As a recognised subject matter expert, you'll become an external ambassador for the business, engaging directly with customers, partners and industry stakeholders to influence thinking around the future of consumer innovation.
What You'll Be Doing:- Define and execute product strategy for new AI-powered customer solutions.
- Lead product discovery, validation and development initiatives from concept through to launch.
- Work closely with FMCG customers to understand emerging challenges and opportunities.
- Translate consumer insight, research and data into scalable product solutions.
- Partner with commercial teams to shape go-to-market strategy, positioning and customer adoption.
- Act as a trusted advisor to customers on innovation, NPD and consumer-led growth.
- Represent the business externally through customer engagements, industry events and thought leadership opportunities.
- Drive product-market fit and ensure solutions deliver measurable commercial value.
- Collaborate with engineering, data science, research and commercial teams to bring innovative products to market.
We're looking for someone with a unique combination of consumer innovation expertise, commercial acumen and modern product leadership. You'll likely have:
- Expertise in New Product Development (NPD) Innovation and Consumer Insights within an FMCG organisation.
- Strong experience across FMCG, Food & Beverage, Retail, Beauty, Household or adjacent consumer sectors.
- Transitioned into Product Management, Digital Product or AI/Data-led product environments.
- A proven track record of launching successful customer-facing products, platforms or digital experiences.
- Experience supporting product commercialisation and go-to-market initiatives.
- The ability to engage credibly with both enterprise customers and end consumers.
- Strong understanding of consumer research, insight generation, innovation processes and product lifecycle management.
- Experience working alongside data, analytics, AI or automation technologies.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication and influencing skills.
