We're looking for an experienced DevOps / Platform Engineering Lead to help transform how engineering teams build, deploy and operate software. This isn't a traditional infrastructure role. You'll be responsible for driving the platform engineering agenda across the business, creating the tooling, automation and standards that enable engineers to ship faster, safer and with greater confidence. Working closely with Engineering, Architecture and Security teams, you'll modernise our cloud platform, improve developer experience, increase delivery velocity and build the foundations for a scalable, cloud-native engineering organisation.
What You'll Be Doing
- Driving our platform engineering strategy and roadmap
- Building self-service platform capabilities that improve developer productivity
- Creating robust CI/CD pipelines and deployment standards
- Embedding DevSecOps practices across the software delivery lifecycle
- Standardising Infrastructure as Code and cloud engineering practices
- Improving reliability, observability and operational resilience
- Reducing friction across engineering teams and accelerating software delivery
- Establishing secure‑by‑default patterns for cloud services, deployments and integrations
What We're Looking For
- Expertise in CI/CD, automation and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/Bicep)
- Experience building internal developer platforms or platform engineering capabilities
- Strong understanding of DevSecOps and modern software delivery practices
- Experience improving engineering velocity, reliability and developer experience at scale
- Ability to influence engineering teams and drive technical change
