Reporting to the CEO/Founder and joining the exec board, we are currently looking for a highly experienced ‘Operational’ Chief Technology Officer (CTO), to play a leading role in driving the technology strategy and direction as the company enters an exciting international scale phase following a recent large investment round. A key hire to the board, we are looking for a strategic technology leader with a strong background in SaaS, experience in high-growth environments, proven experience in scaling technology & teams, and the skills to balance strategic vision with hands-on execution to meet investor expectations and drive value creation. Define and implement a clear technical vision | roadmap that supports rapid scale and aligns with the company’s mission and growth objectives. Partner closely with commercial, sales, marketing, and customer success teams to ensure alignment on goals and seamless execution of the growth roadmap. Lead platform scalability initiatives to ensure the core products can handle increased traffic, users, and data demands. Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing team, nurturing a culture of innovation, ownership, and accountability. Drive agile development practices and ensure a rapid iteration process, balancing speed with stability and performance. Lead automation initiatives to improve operational efficiency and speed up the delivery pipeline. Develop proactive security policies, foster a security-first mindset across the company, conduct regular audits, and ensure data security, privacy, and compliance with relevant industry standards (e.g., Engage with investors and stakeholders to demonstrate how technology initiatives support growth, customer acquisition, and retention. Demonstrated success in optimizing and scaling cloud infrastructure (AZURE) to support multi-tenant SaaS architecture and data growth. Excellent people management skills with a history of building, developing, and leading high-performing teams in a high-growth setting. Strong commercial acumen with evidence of developing harmonisation between tech, commercial, sales and marketing teams. Ability to balance short-term objectives with long-term vision, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic environment. Location: the company operates a 4 days (office) and 1 day (wfh) policy and therefore, it is expected that you will be based in the North West, or happy to relocate to the region.
