The Account Manager should be an enthusiastic, hard-working, curious and entrepreneurial individual. They will have the opportunity to cross-sell a broad range of real estate solutions aimed at large occupier clients, and to solve a variety of different problems for our customers. The Account Manager will need to understand their clients' business priorities and drivers and how they can maximise their return on investment from MRI solutions. Our clients are large corporate and public sector organisations, often with a Global presence.
In person Executive Business Reviews (EBR's) and other client meetings/events are encouraged, meaning travel will be required both across the UK and Europe when required; however, online or remote working where this makes sense including a mix of office and home working. This is a quota carrying, individual contributor role. This role will suit individuals already in an Account Management or Business Development role with a hunter mentality looking to take the next step in their Sales career. Experience from within the Real Estate sector would be advantageous, though not essential.
We understand the need to provide a flexible working environment partnered with team collaboration and socialisation. Therefore, we operate a hybrid working model with 3 days of working from home per week. This role is based in the London office.
Responsibilities
- Professionally representing MRI and building mutually beneficial relationships with decision makers to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction, customer retention and account development.
- Maximising opportunities for repeatable licence revenues.
- Recommending appropriate solutions and negotiating acceptable terms with the client.
- Achieving and exceeding all quarterly and annual fiscal targets and objectives.
- Identifying opportunities for cross-selling other MRI products or products/services.
- Maintaining regular contact by telephone, onsite visits, and Client User Forums.
- Determining ongoing requirements to meet changing business needs.
- Working closely with other stakeholders within the business such as Legal, Sales Operations, Marketing, Development, and the Implementation teams.
- Ensuring Salesforce is up to date to reflect all sales activity.
- Maintaining timely and accurate sales forecasts within Salesforce and Sales Command Centre.
- Managing your pipeline of opportunities from enquiry through to closure through Salesforce.
