This role is in the Application Administration team; our team is responsible for ensuring client environments hosted within the MRI cloud are available 24/7/365. We play a crucial role in deploying applications for new client implementations, we are instrumental in the continued support and maintenance of these applications to ensure the highest levels of customer satisfaction, and we play a key role in keeping our clients at the cutting edge of hosted platform technology through executing regular application upgrades. Overall, we are a client-facing team dedicated to providing the highest quality experience for our clients, with a strong focus on doing so in a collaborative and supportive manner.

Responsibilities:
  • Configure, maintain, and support MRI applications using Microsoft Windows and Oracle + Microsoft SQL servers ensuring 24/7/365 uptime.
  • Work between business functions to deliver and support client functionality using Integration technology such as SSIS, SSRS and SFTP. Specific training delivered in role.
  • Implement and Monitor Database backup plans which guarantee Point-In-Time restore ability.
  • Apply new releases of MRI Applications to existing client environments.
  • Able to respond in a timely manner to escalated issues and ability to handover to management when needed.
  • Participate and contribute to the collaborative team library of documentation.
  • Execute deployments, either using Azure DevOps or a set of provided manual instructions.
Requirements:
  • Strong troubleshooter and independent learner where necessary.
  • Self-driven to continuously improve and develop own skillset, and an ability to enhance the skill set of others.
  • Ability to understand and articulate technical concepts.
  • Enjoyment of working in a fast-paced environment either independently or collaboratively.
  • Experience with Windows Server, and associated components e.g., Active Directory.
  • Experience with using T-SQL and/or Oracle PL/SQL query expressions to diagnose or resolve routine issues, would be a bonus but not essential.
  • SQL Server, Oracle RDBMS installation and administration experience would be a bonus but not essential.
  • Some scripting knowledge such as PowerShell is a bonus.
