Overview
We require a customer focused, tenacious and target‑driven individual to join MRI within the Renewals Sales team. In this role you will be focused on connecting with existing clients and with their MRI Account Manager, reviewing their contracted solutions and ensuring that they are happy with their current products and services. The role involves managing contract renewals and using this opportunity to extend the contract and review available packages to maximise revenue for MRI and ROI for the customer. To ensure you can do this, you will be thoroughly trained on MRI’s suite of solutions to help you promote them within existing clients. As key members of our growth and retention function, the Renewals team works to engage existing customers via telephone, email, and social media to build the relationship and develop the right renewal package for each customer, based on need, current system utilisation and future plans, executing each new agreement as efficiently as possible. While previous experience is ideal, candidates that show drive and potential will be strongly considered for the role. We understand the need to provide a flexible working environment partnered with team collaboration and socialisation. Therefore, we operate a hybrid working model with 3 days of working from home per week. This role is based in the London office.
Responsibilities
- Establish the correct main client contact and proactively work with the current account management team at MRI
- Understand which products the client is using and how, what is driving the market and where MRI software and services can add value
- Work with Marketing, on documentation to support available packages
- Research clients using our toolsets.
- Work toward quarterly/monthly targets which will contribute to your bonus structure
- Be part of the internal development program which will include participation in sales and product training sessions.
- Efficient and clear management of all planned and actual client contact using our CRM and sales enablement platform.
- Provide weekly summaries of activity in manager 1‑2‑1s and at business unit monthly sales meetings.
- Customer and event exposure (In line with the marketing calendar, company workshops and experiences).
Essential Requirements
- Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word, Excel & PowerPoint
- Account Management or Contract Renewal Experience preferred
- Understanding of how social networking tools can be used in business
- Keen interest in technology and its place in the business world
- Be open to new initiatives and have the confidence to voice your own opinions on improvements that can be made
- Understanding that following a structured sales process can deliver better results
- Flexible and focused self‑starter with the ability to follow directives and work independently
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and learn a lot quickly
- Excellent written & verbal communication skills
