The MRI Healthcare Division offers the broadest solution set in the industry for Estates and Facilities Management. With unprecedented domain knowledge, MRI gives NHS Trusts the tools they need to transform the way they work and improve the everyday experience for patients, visitors and staff. MRI is helping to power Digital Transformation and Smart Building initiatives resulting in safe and efficient buildings while reducing the cost of maintaining the NHS Estate. Solutions include Computer Aided Facilities Management, Energy, Space and Property Management, delivering an efficient and effective Estates and Facilities service to the UK. We have over 32 years’ experience in the facilities management industry, which brings close client relationships and the ability to deliver solutions that meet industry requirements and enable our customers to succeed.
Responsibilities
- Professionally represent MRI and build mutually beneficial relationships with decision makers to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction, customer retention and account development.
- Achieve your personal Quarterly and Annual Sales target.
- Build monthly pipeline to achieve sales targets set.
- Recommend appropriate solutions and negotiate acceptable terms with the client.
- Identify new client opportunities for MRI solutions in UK Healthcare organisations.
- Respond to Tenders, RFI’s, RFP’s & ITT’s.
- Liaise with Sales Engineering to produce quotations and proposals.
- Negotiate with prospects including at C‑Suite Level.
- Maintain regular contact with prospects both on site and online or by phone.
- Determine clients on‑going requirements to meet changing business needs.
- Work closely with other stakeholders within the business such as Legal, Sales Operations, Sales Engineering, Marketing, Development and the Implementation teams.
- Maintain timely and accurate sales forecasts within CRM systems.
- Ensure CRM systems are up to date to reflect all sales activity.
- Manage your pipeline of opportunities from enquiry through to closure through CRM systems.
- Travel within the UK with occasional overnight stays, representing MRI at industry trade shows and conferences.
Requirements
- Track record of sales achievement, operating in a target‑driven new business environment.
- Software Solutions sales experience (minimum two years) preferably in the Public Sector / Healthcare.
- ‘Hunter’, new business mentality.
- Ability to qualify opportunities, curious about customer goals, willing to challenge accepted thinking.
- Knowledge of the Facilities Management Market is an advantage although not essential.
- Team player willing to collaborate with others (essential).
- High level of initiative with ability to work unsupervised.
- Tenacious and driven.
- Confident, enthusiastic, and motivated with high energy.
- Hungry for success, always looking for ways to improve and learn.
- Very organised with good time management skills.
- Ability to multi‑task, managing complex sales projects, sometimes with long lead times.
- Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Experience of using MS Dynamics and Salesforce.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively and to identify sales opportunities.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet agreed targets and deadlines.
- Self‑sufficient needing limited supervision.
