We are looking for a driven and entrepreneurial New Business Account Executive to join our Sales team, focused on the Social Housing sector. The role involves selling a broad portfolio of software solutions to housing associations and local authorities. We offer a hybrid working model with 3 days of working from home per week.

Key Responsibilities

  • Represent MRI professionally and build strong relationships with senior decision-makers.
  • Achieve quarterly and annual new business sales targets.
  • Build and manage a robust pipeline to support revenue goals.
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities across local authorities and housing associations.
  • Recommend appropriate solutions and negotiate commercial terms.
  • Respond to tenders, RFIs, RFPs and ITTs.
  • Work closely with Sales Engineering to produce proposals and quotations.
  • Manage opportunities end‑to‑end, from initial enquiry through to close.
  • Maintain accurate pipeline management, forecasts and sales activity in Salesforce.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders including Legal, Sales Operations, Marketing, Development and Implementation teams.

Requirements

  • Proven success in a target‑driven, new business sales environment.
  • Experience selling software solutions.
  • Strong “hunter” mindset with the ability to qualify opportunities.
  • Confident communicator, comfortable engaging at C‑suite level.
  • Organised, self‑sufficient and able to manage complex, long sales cycles.
  • Team‑oriented, with a proactive and independent working style.
  • Knowledge of the Social Housing or Public Sector is desirable but not essential.
