About the client
The Management Recruitment Group is seeking an Interim Senior Property Manager for a prestigious public sector estate in London.
Accountabilities
- Oversee strategic and operational management of this organisations property portfolio
- Supervision of freehold and leasehold properties comprising of operational buildings, offices, retail and residential asset classes
- Deliver expertise in landlord and tenant management, leasing, planning, service charge and legal matters, while driving income generation, ensuring compliance, and adopting best practices
- Management of external agents and contractors as well as liaise with academic staff
Candidate Requirements
- MRICS qualified with 5-years post qualification experience
- Able to start at short notice
- Willing to travel to London as required
- Experience in the management of property/estates in a complex environment, preferably client-side within the public sector
- Experience of engagement with tenants, landlords, public bodies, and communities
- Experience of evaluating development opportunities in addition to conducting rent and lease reviews
- Experience of liaising with legal representatives and external property advisors
- Possess an up-to-date knowledge of statutory regulations and best practice in relation to the management of estates and property
- Knowledge of the planning application procedure with experience of liaising with the local authorities on policy
- Possess an understanding of financial information in a property context
- Proven communication and people skills with the ability to communicate with a wide range of stakeholders
