King's College London is seeking to appoint a Senior Project Manager within its Real Estate Development team – a unique opportunity to lead the delivery of a diverse portfolio of estate development projects at one of the world’s leading universities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for end‑to‑end delivery of complex and high‑risk capital projects across the estate.
- Act as the university’s client‑side lead, taking full accountability for cost, programme, risk, quality and compliance from early design and business case development through to construction, handover and post‑occupancy review.
- Lead multidisciplinary consultant and contractor teams and engage closely with academic, operational and professional services stakeholders.
- Embed best practice, ensure compliance with statutory and internal governance requirements, and maintain delivery confidence across the capital portfolio.
Required Experience and Qualities:
- Proven track record of leading a multi‑million portfolio of projects from inception to completion in a project leadership role.
- Experience delivering projects in a high‑paced, dynamic live operational environment.
- Experience in higher education, life sciences or public realm projects is advantageous.
