Reporting to the Head of Group Space and Workplace Transformation, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy, governance and effective use of property and space data across the LSBU estate. Working closely with colleagues across Estates and the wider University, you will provide the evidence base that supports space optimisation, investment decisions and future estate strategy.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing and maintaining space and property data within the University's Integrated Workplace Management System (IWMS).
  • Analysing occupancy, utilisation and building performance data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
  • Developing dashboards and reporting tools that provide clear and actionable insights for a range of stakeholders.
  • Supporting feasibility studies, business cases, space audits, occupancy reviews and workplace transformation projects.
  • Contributing to the development of the LSBU Group Space Strategy through robust data analysis and modelling.
  • Championing evidence-based decision-making and continuous improvement in space management practices.

We are particularly interested in candidates who can demonstrate:

  • Experience working with complex datasets and producing meaningful analysis for operational and strategic decision-making.
  • Knowledge of Integrated Workplace Management Systems (IWMS), CAFM systems or comparable property data platforms.
  • Strong expertise in data visualisation tools such as Power BI, Tableau or similar platforms.
  • Experience of space management, workplace analytics, estates planning or real estate analysis.
  • The ability to communicate complex analytical findings to a diverse range of stakeholders, including senior leaders.
  • Knowledge of database management, data integration and governance principles.
  • A collaborative approach and the ability to build strong relationships across multiple teams.

If you are passionate about data, property analytics and shaping the future of workplace environments through evidence-based decision-making, we would love to hear from you.
