Kingston University London is inviting applications for the position of Estates Project Manager to deliver a varied portfolio of capital and refurbishment projects across the University’s estate.
The Estates and Sustainability directorate supports Kingston University’s academic mission and strategic plan, leading on strategic planning, capital development, space management, operational sustainability, energy management, biodiversity management, statutory compliance and campus operations. It provides direction for the operation, facilities maintenance, and management of the estate by KUSCO – a wholly owned subsidiary of the University.
This opportunity is for a collaborative and forward‑thinking team, delivering projects that enhance the University’s built environment and support the student and staff experience. The manager will lead projects through all RIBA Plan of Work stages, from inception through design, delivery and completion, ensuring successful outcomes that meet agreed scope, budget and programme.
Key Responsibilities- Lead projects involving refurbishment, reconfiguration and improvement works.
- Plan and manage space reconfiguration, planning and the management of moves and changes across the estate.
- Define project requirements, manage delivery teams and ensure projects align with Estates processes and statutory requirements.
- Embed sustainability, operational efficiency and value for money into all project outcomes.
- Maintain strong focus on health, safety and compliance.
- Formative project delivery experience within an architecture, construction or project management environment.
- Desire to build a project track record across a varied portfolio of schemes and a willingness to progress into a project management role.
