Job Overview
Licensed Psychologist (PhD or Psy.D) looking to perform independent medical assessments for U.S. Veterans. Perform assessments, review medical records, complete Disability Benefits Questionnaires (DBQs). Complete an average of 4 veteran assessments per day. Independent contractor; no patient care or medication prescribing.
Description
We are seeking a Licensed Psychologist to conduct medical assessments on U.S. Veterans as part of the VA disability benefits process. In this role you will review behavioral health records electronically through a secure Web Portal, perform in‑person assessments, and complete DBQs. The Veteran Administration makes all disability determinations; you provide the clinical findings.
Requirements
- Ph.D. or Psy.D from an APA‑accredited program.
- Actively licensed and unrestricted as a psychologist.
- Meet the credentialing requirements set forth by the VA.
Schedule – Part Time: Saturdays 8am–4pm. This is an IN‑PERSON position.
