Infrastructure Support Analyst * LMS IT Department * Salary: £42,159 - £47,071 per annum plus London Allowance £ 5,560 per annum * Full time, permanent * London, UK About us The MRC Laboratory of Medical Sciences (LMS) is a biomedical research institute, with a unique computing environment using Windows, Apple and Linux technologies, where scientists and clinicians collaborate to advance the understanding of Biology and its application to medicine. LMS is one of three directly funded MRC Research Institutes and maintains strong links with our partners at Imperial College London and at the Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust. About the role The successful candidate will join a tight-knit, collaborative team of IT specialists within the LMS Computing Facility. The role primarily involves delivering 3rd line IT infrastructure and user support services to the LMS community. You will heavily contribute to the development, deployment and maintenance of IT technologies that underpin the Computing Facility’s operations. Additionally, you will provide training and guidance to staff on the safe and secure use of hardware and applications. Close collaboration with key stakeholders at Imperial College London (ICL) and Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust is also an important aspect of this role, supporting the broader mission of the LMS. About You If you’re experienced, highly motivated, hands-on individual with a drive to succeed and passion for personal development in IT infrastructure and systems, this is your chance to develop and deliver at the highest level.
