We’re working with a top-tier US law firm looking to hire a Lead Private Equity Knowledge Counsel to support its high performing fee-earning team. It’s a great opportunity for an experienced senior private equity lawyer who enjoys the technical side of practice and wants to play a strategic role in shaping knowledge, training, and best practice within a globally recognised PE platform.

You’ll work closely with partners, associates, business development and innovation teams across the firm, helping to strengthen the team’s knowledge and AI innovation infrastructure while supporting cutting-edge private equity transactions.

What You’ll Do:

  • Develop, maintain, and enhance private equity precedents, playbooks, and internal know-how
  • Monitor legal and market developments and produce practical updates and guidance for the team
  • Deliver training sessions and workshops for lawyers across the corporate practice
  • Support the team’s business development efforts through client briefings, thought leadership, and market insights
  • Drive implementation of legal tech and AI tools

What We’re Looking For:

  • A qualified lawyer with 5+ years of experience in private equity transactions
  • Excellent technical drafting skills and deep familiarity with PE documentation and market practice
  • An interest in knowledge strategy, training, and improving how teams capture and use know-how
  • A collaborative and proactive approach, with the ability to drive projects forward
  • Prior knowledge lawyer or PSL experience is desirable but not essential
