We’re supporting a highly respected law firm in their search for a Senior Knowledge Development Lawyer to join their market-leading Real Estate Finance practice. This is an exceptional opportunity to influence knowledge strategy, drive innovation, and support one of the most reputable REF teams in the industry. In this role, you’ll play a central part in strengthening the firm’s knowledge ecosystem enhancing precedents, shaping training programmes, supporting client-facing initiatives, and collaborating on major innovation projects. You’ll work closely with a large team of real estate finance specialists advising lenders, funds, financial institutions, investors, and developers on a broad range of cross-border and domestic transactions.
What You’ll Do:
- Develop and deliver engaging training sessions, workshops, and seminars for lawyers and clients
- Produce thought leadership, client briefings, and support BD initiatives
- Partner with international offices to create practical jurisdictional guides
- Manage and enhance a full suite of real estate finance precedents—including facility agreements, security documents, fee letters, subordination deeds, and ancillary documentation
- Lead precedent review, automation, and the adoption of new legal tech tools
- Support knowledge sharing across the wider real estate division and help shape best practice
What We’re Looking For:
- A UK-qualified solicitor with strong post-qualification experience in real estate finance
- Excellent technical understanding of REF transactions and documentation
- Experience in knowledge management, training, or precedent development
- Strong drafting skills with the ability to translate complex issues into clear, practical guidance
- Interest or experience in legal technology, automation, and innovation
- A proactive, collaborative approach, and confidence working independently on projects
