Senior Employment Lawyer

A leading UK business is looking to appoint an experienced Employment Lawyer to join its Legal team in a specialist, technical role.

This position will involve providing pragmatic, commercially focused employment law advice across both contentious and non-contentious matters, acting as a trusted adviser to senior stakeholders.

The role covers a broad range of work including employment tribunal litigation, restructuring and TUPE, industrial relations, disciplinary and grievance matters, policy advice, and strategic employment risk management.

You will work closely with internal stakeholders and external counsel, balancing legal risk with commercial objectives, and contributing to wider organisational priorities.

The ideal candidate will be:

• Qualified lawyer with strong employment law expertise
• Comfortable advising senior business leaders
• Experienced in both contentious and advisory employment matters
• Commercially astute, pragmatic, and confident in influencing and decision-making
