We're working with a top-tier US law firm looking to appoint a Knowledge Lawyer to join its London Corporate practice.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced corporate lawyer (6+ PQE) who enjoys the technical side of practice and wants to help shape how knowledge, innovation, and collaboration support one of the market's leading transactional teams. Supporting a broad corporate practice spanning across M&A & private equity and involvement with venture capital, and corporate governance. You'll work alongside a Senior Knowledge Counsel and a global network of Knowledge Lawyers to drive best practice across the firm.
What you'll be doing:
- Developing and maintaining market-leading know-how, precedents, and practical guidance across the corporate practice
- Delivering training programmes and supporting the development of lawyers at all levels
- Working closely with partners on thought leadership, client-facing content, and business development initiatives
- Helping identify opportunities to improve how knowledge is captured and shared through innovation and technology
- Monitoring legal and market developments and translating them into practical, commercially focused guidance
- Collaborating with Knowledge and Innovation teams across multiple international offices on strategic firmwide projects
What they're looking for:
- A qualified lawyer with 6+ years' PQE and strong experience across corporate transactions, ideally M&A and private equity
- Someone who enjoys analysing black letter law and turning complex legal developments into practical guidance
- Excellent drafting and communication skills, with a collaborative approach to working across teams
- An interest in knowledge management, legal innovation, and improving how lawyers deliver exceptional client service
- Previous knowledge or PSL experience is welcome but by no means essential
This is far more than a traditional knowledge role. It's an opportunity to influence how a world-class corporate practice shares expertise, embraces innovation, and continues to deliver market-leading advice in an increasingly technology-enabled environment.
