Derivatives & Structured Finance Lawyer (London – including foreign qualified and in-house lawyers)

We’re working with a top-tier international law firm to hire an experienced Derivatives & Structured Finance lawyer into a market-leading London team.

This role sits in a genuinely global practice advising major investment banks, funds, corporates and industry bodies on high-value, complex derivatives and structured finance transactions across all major asset classes.

What you’ll be doing

• Advising on OTC derivatives, structured products, repos, securities financing and hedging arrangements
• Working on cutting-edge regulatory capital, liquidity, funding and risk transfer structures
• Involvement in repackagings, structured notes, commodity and project finance hedging
• Exposure to clearing, collateral, regulatory change and industry-standard documentation
• Opportunities to work on emerging markets and (if relevant) Islamic finance transactions

What they’re looking for

• England & Wales qualified (or equivalent)
• Strong experience in derivatives and/or structured finance from a leading law firm
• Commercial, technically strong and comfortable working directly with sophisticated clients
• Someone who enjoys complex work and being part of a collaborative, high-performing team
