A leading international law firm is looking for an experienced Conflicts Lawyer to join its Risk & Compliance function on a 6-month fixed-term contract.
This is a hands-on role for someone who genuinely understands conflicts, not just how to run a check and forward it to a partner with crossed fingers.
The role
- Reviewing and resolving complex conflicts issues
- Advising fee-earners on conflicts strategy and risk
- Supporting lateral hire conflict assessments
- Helping develop and embed conflicts policies and procedures
- Training fee-earners and junior staff on conflicts processes
- Contributing to process improvement during system implementation
About you
- Qualified lawyer with around 2–4 years’ PQE focused on conflicts
- Strong working knowledge of SRA conflicts rules
- Experience in a City or international law firm
- Comfortable advising senior stakeholders and pushing back where needed
- Exposure to US conflicts rules or Intapp is helpful, but not essential
