My client, a leading transportation and logistics group, is looking for an additional lawyer to join their group legal team in central London. The role will report into the group General Counsel and will support on a truly varied workload, including the following: Drafting and negotiating a wide range of key commercial contracts Providing support on large-scale infrastructure projects Providing legal input into possible M&A activity Advising on broader matters relating to health and safety, immigration, environment and employment. Liaising with and assisting other group functions including Company Secretarial, Finance, HR and Compliance. The successful candidate will have at between four to eight years’ post-qualification experience with a strong grounding from experience gained in either the corporate or commercial team of a top tier law firm. Some previous in-house/client secondment experience is desirable (but not essential). You will benefit from strong drafting, negotiating and communication skills and the ability to develop and maintain relationships internally and externally with stakeholders at all levels.
