Interim Commercial Lawyer (FTC 6 months), Telco/Satellite Business

My client, a global satellite/telco business is looking for an interim lawyer to join them on an initial 6-month basis.

The successful candidate will be an experienced commercial contracts lawyer. Telecoms experience would be beneficial, although not a pre-requisite. The role will be wide reaching and responsibilities will include:

• Leading complex vendor and/or commercial transactions including drafting, redlining, negotiating agreements
• Advising and counsel management and other internal clients across the business on commercial issues, legal compliance matters, statutory and regulatory developments, contract interpretation, dispute resolution, and key risks
• Drafting and negotiating global commercial distribution partner / reseller agreements
• Providing legal support with respect to various international business development projects, corporate transactions, contracts management, and global compliance
• Drafting and negotiating global procurement contracts.

They are looking for someone to start ASAP, so being available at short notice is key.
