A leading international law firm is seeking an experienced Senior Conflicts Lawyer to join its global in-house Risk team. This is an excellent opportunity to play a critical role in supporting business intake and risk management processes across sixteen global offices, working closely with partners and senior leadership on complex legal and commercial conflicts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review conflict reports for new matters and new hires, providing clear, commercial advice on legal and business conflict issues.
  • Engage directly with partners and counsel to analyse potential conflicts and coordinate their resolution.
  • Draft and track conflict waivers and manage the set-up of ethical walls and information barriers.
  • Guide and mentor a team of risk analysts on best practices for corporate family research and conflict report preparation.
  • Assist in drafting standard engagement letters and advise on business intake policies and procedures.
  • Support ad hoc risk and compliance projects as they arise.

Key Requirements:

  • Qualified solicitor (England & Wales) with 1-4 years' experience at a highly regarded commercial law firm, with direct exposure to conflict management.
  • Strong analytical skills with a keen attention to detail and an ability to provide practical, commercially aware advice.
  • Excellent communication skills, able to explain complex issues clearly and confidently to senior stakeholders.
  • Organised and capable of managing multiple priorities under pressure while maintaining high standards of accuracy.
  • Team-oriented and proactive, with the ability to work autonomously and collaboratively across a global team.
  • Familiarity with InTapp conflict checking and business intake systems would be an advantage.
