Job Description

Data Protection Knowledge Lawyer

We’re currently working with a reputable international law firm looking for an experienced Professional Support Lawyer (PSL) or diversifying Fee-Earner to join their Data Protection team in London. If you’re a Senior Associate-level lawyer (or equivalent) with strong UK and European data protection expertise, this could be the perfect opportunity to move into a strategic, knowledge-focused role that simultaneously allows for more work/life balance.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Keep the legal team up to date on legal developments in data protection and digital regulation
  • Maintain and develop key precedents to anticipate legal and market changes
  • Organize and manage knowledge-sharing resources
  • Assist with client seminars, training, and publications
  • Support business development and marketing initiatives
  • Research and analyse key commercial issues for clients
  • Collaborate with firm Knowledge lawyers globally to share best practices

Skillsets / Requirements:

  • Strong expertise in UK & EU data protection law (additional knowledge of digital regulations like DMA, DSA, AIA is a plus)
  • Excellent legal drafting and analytical skills
  • Ability to deliver complex information in a clear and engaging way
  • A proactive, client-focused mindset
  • Prior knowledge experience is desirable but not essential
