Our client, an elite international law firm, is seeking a Senior Conflicts Attorney to join its London Conflicts & Legal Ethics team. You’ll play a key role in managing risk, clearing new matters and clients, and supporting partners across a global platform.

The Role

You’ll act as the go‑to adviser on conflicts, intake and ethics, guiding partners and attorneys through conflict analysis, screenings and waivers. Working across multiple jurisdictions, you’ll manage research processes, resolve issues swiftly and ensure consistent application of conflicts rules and policies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead on partner conflict enquiries
  • Work with partners/associates to resolve conflict issues
  • Manage conflict research and clear new clients/matters
  • Advise on screenings, waivers and engagement letters
  • Oversee development and communication of ethics screens
  • Review matters for potential illegality or unethical conduct

About You

  • 5+ years’ legal experience in a law firm or in‑house
  • Strong conflicts, intake and risk management expertise
  • Skilled in analysing complex corporate structures and relationships
  • Confident communicator able to advise stakeholders globally
  • Proficient with WCO, CapitalIQ and corporate research tools
