A leading international law firm is looking for an experienced Conflicts Lawyer to join its Risk & Compliance function on a 6-month fixed-term contract.

This is a hands-on role for someone who genuinely understands conflicts, not just how to run a check and forward it to a partner with crossed fingers.

The role

  • Reviewing and resolving complex conflicts issues
  • Advising fee-earners on conflicts strategy and risk
  • Supporting lateral hire conflict assessments
  • Helping develop and embed conflicts policies and procedures
  • Training fee-earners and junior staff on conflicts processes
  • Contributing to process improvement during system implementation

About you

  • Qualified lawyer with around 2–4 years’ PQE focused on conflicts
  • Strong working knowledge of SRA conflicts rules
  • Experience in a City or international law firm
  • Comfortable advising senior stakeholders and pushing back where needed
  • Exposure to US conflicts rules or Intapp is helpful, but not essential
