My client is a leading independent property development company. As part of a continued growth trajectory, they are looking to build out their legal function and are now looking to hire a Legal Director to lead on all matters arising out of their housebuilding arm (they build circa 2000 homes per year across the UK).

This role will provide legal advice and support on all housebuilding related matters, across the full lifecycle of residential development. They will be responsible for ensuring the business acquires, develops, and disposes of land in a legally robust, commercially astute, and operationally efficient manner.

The successful candidate will be a qualified solicitor with a minimum of 8+ years PQE. Top-tier law firm training in residential development or real estate, ideally with in-house experience gained in a housebuilder. Strong experience in land acquisition and development agreements is required.
