This person will sit in London as the dedicated lawyer there, with a wider team in the US.The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering legal support for the client investment process. This will include reviewing and negotiating a broad range of investments, with a focus on private funds, such as hedge funds, private equity funds and venture capital funds. The successful candidate will: Be either a US trained attorney located in London OR a lawyer with experience working with US lawyers or in a US law firm in London. Have gained experience (and be at least 5PQE) within a private funds team at a top-tier law firm, or have moved in-house within another US manager. Have an interest in working as the London-based member of an Investments Legal team based in the U.S. Have specific experience with primary, secondary, and direct transactions in private equity and venture capital is preferred.
