About Us

Mr Tyre Motorsport are a long established Market Leader in the supply of Race, Rally and Trackday tyres. Providing Competition Tyres for many disciplines of Motorsport either through our on event and Trackside Services or from our Tamworth Warehouse base. We are looking for an enthusiastic and adaptable individual to work within our Motorsport warehouse and help us provide Trackside services at Races and Rallies across the UK.

The Role

  • HGV Class 2 Driver Tyre fitter at Motorsport Events and On Site Stores
  • Work at Base

The Key roles

  • To fit tyres at Race and Rally meetings and on site assisting the company in providing on event support to its customer base
  • Prepare, Load / Unload Race and Rally Service Support Vehicles both Pre and Post Event
  • Transport truck (Class 2 HGV) to and from Motorsport Events
  • Maintenance and upkeep of machinery and equipment
  • Stores – Goods In and Out including maintaining good standard of housekeeping within warehouse and on event with Service vehicles.

Due to the ever-changing nature and demands of the business your job description and undertaking will inevitably change over a period of time. You will be required to undertake other activities that fall within your capabilities to assist in the day to day running of the business.

Working Hours

  • Monday – Thursday - 08.30 – 16.00
  • Friday - 08.30 - 12.00
  • Weekend work will be required during the Race and Rally Season
  • Must be flexible around working hours.
  • By the nature of the Business the Job will involve both Saturday and Sunday work and time away from home and overnight stays, during the Race Season. (Hotel accommodation will be provided, no overnighting in Trucks)
