The M&A Manager drives pipeline growth, converts opportunities into mandates, and leads the execution of mid‑market transactions. Reporting to the Head of M&A, you’ll manage an M&A Executive, work closely with debt advisory and marketing, and act as a trusted point of contact for clients, buyers and funders.
What you’ll do
- Win work: deliver pitches, run growth‑strategy workshops, and position yourself as a key member of the deal team.
- Manage deals end‑to‑end: coordinate clients, buyers, lenders and advisers; run negotiations; maintain momentum across all workstreams.
- Build relationships: develop a strong network across legal, tax, lenders, investors and intermediaries.
- Produce high‑quality outputs: IMs, management presentations, valuations, financial models, market analysis and buyer lists.
- Lead DD: set up and manage virtual data rooms, control information flow, and support clients through commercial and legal processes.
- Drive BD: own a sector, generate insight‑led content, support marketing, and represent the firm at industry events.
What you bring
- ACA (or equivalent) with 2+ years’ corporate finance experience.
- Strong commercial judgement, communication and relationship‑building skills.
- Advanced Excel and financial modelling capability.
- High organisational and project‑management discipline; thrives under pressure.
- Ability to coach junior team members and operate confidently in a lean, entrepreneurial team.
