Accountabilities
You will be accountable for engaging families and coordinating the delivery of Family & Young Peoples services, including youth clubs, play sessions, and community engagement programmes. These services will be used to engage parents of working age in meaningful activity to help them move towards the labour market and out of poverty.
You will work closely with senior management to develop stakeholder relationships, deliver operational plans, and shape high-quality community services. You will also contribute to monitoring social impact and ensuring continuous improvement, quality, and compliance.
Responsibilities
Service Delivery
- Facilitate the delivery of all Family & Young Peoples activities at community sites.
- Develop programmes that engage parents of working age in meaningful activity.
- Engage families in targeted activities to support children and young people.
- Work with local schools to identify early intervention opportunities.
- Provide holistic family support through youth and family programmes.
- Link families with existing services addressing unemployment, food poverty, and money management.
- Manage stakeholder relationships with partners delivering Family & Young Peoples services.
- Collaborate to develop new services, activities, and training opportunities that support people into work.
- Assist in managing funded programmes against deadlines and targets.
- Lead on the development and management of community facilities, ensuring they are maintained to a high standard.
- Support in securing revenue funding to develop and sustain youth and family services.
- Work with local residents to identify gaps in provision and develop services to meet those needs.
- Plan and deliver seasonal activities and events to raise the organisations profile and attract new beneficiaries.
- Support the coordination and management of volunteers.
- Work with corporate, statutory, and voluntary sector partners to achieve organisational objectives.
- Manage budgets, monitoring income and expenditure.
- Capture beneficiary feedback and monitor social impact for all activities.
