Staffpower Group are looking for an experienced Welder/Fabricator to join our well-established client's team, working with a range of metals including steel, stainless steel, duplex/super duplex, Inconel and aluminium. The role involves interpreting drawings, carrying out welding in line with ISO and ASME standards, and ensuring high-quality fabrication work.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform welding using processes such as SMAW, GTAW and GMAW.
  • Work from fabrication drawings and operation sheets with accuracy.
  • Maintain quality and inspection standards.
  • Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean, organised workspace.
  • Work independently or as part of a team, with flexibility to support wider workshop tasks.

Skills & Experience

  • 13 years experience in welding and fabrication.
  • Proven knowledge of welding codes and procedures.
  • Ability to set up and complete welding operations to specification.
  • Experience with grinding, fettling and associated fabrication techniques.
  • Relevant training or certifications (e.g. abrasive wheels, gantry crane, CSWIP, PCN) desirable.
