The Role
As a Manufacturing Production Operative, you’ll play a key role in the mixing and manufacturing process, ensuring all products are made to exacting standards. This hands‑on position involves operating and maintaining machinery, following precise production data sheets, and adhering to strict quality and safety protocols. You’ll be responsible for weighing and blending ingredients, operating semi‑automatic and automatic machinery, and maintaining accurate batch records. The role is physically active and requires strong attention to detail and a proactive attitude toward maintaining high manufacturing standards.
Shift Times
Monday‑Friday, 8 am‑4:30 pm
Key Responsibilities
- Weigh, prepare, and blend ingredients for product formulations in line with specifications
- Operate mixing, encapsulation, and tablet‑press machinery safely and efficiently
- Complete batch documentation and maintain accurate production records
- Conduct regular quality checks to ensure all products meet required specifications
- Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) standards
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene throughout the work area, including machinery cleaning
- Follow production schedules and report any issues or deviations promptly
- Adhere to all Health & Safety and Food Safety procedures, wearing appropriate PPE at all times
Requirements
- Experience in manufacturing, food production, or pharmaceuticals preferred
- Ability to operate or learn to operate complex machinery
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards
- Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling tasks
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work effectively as part of a team
- Understanding of GMP or food safety regulations advantageous
