We are looking for hard working team players to join us for a busy season working with us at the Port of Tyne.
Responsibilities
- Manual handling, loading and unloading luggage
- Speaking with customers and giving assistance to arrive or depart the port
- Problem solving and working to tight deadlines
- Working together as a team – teamwork is essential
- Active role requiring walking some distance during shifts
Location and Schedule
The work will be based at the IPT in North Shields (NE29) and can include early starts from 4am. Shifts run outside public transport times, so candidates must be able to make their own way to site.
Screening and Training
Pre-employment medical screening to include drugs and alcohol testing. On-site induction and training prior to beginning the assignment in February.
Temporary Role
Please note this is a temporary role and no guarantees are given for extended or additional work. The work will be subject to cruise schedule and staffing level requirements per cover.
