Overview

The main purpose of this role is to provide comprehensive metal polishing and inspection services.

Responsibilities

  • Polishing finished components to a range of standards including standard eighty-grit belt finish to sateen, super sateen and mirror
  • Use polishing equipment
  • Use inspection equipment such as vernier, micrometres & PI Tapes
  • Inspection of goods in, goods out, and all purchased parts
  • Process auditing
  • Sign off on first and last inspection
  • Reporting non-conforming parts
  • Reporting of technical data
