Overview
The main purpose of this role is to provide comprehensive metal polishing and inspection services.
Responsibilities
- Polishing finished components to a range of standards including standard eighty-grit belt finish to sateen, super sateen and mirror
- Use polishing equipment
- Use inspection equipment such as vernier, micrometres & PI Tapes
- Inspection of goods in, goods out, and all purchased parts
- Process auditing
- Sign off on first and last inspection
- Reporting non-conforming parts
- Reporting of technical data
