Location: Westfield office in Shepherd’s Bush

Reporting into: Merchandising Manager

Working Hours: 37.5 hours per week (4 days in office)

Responsibilities

  • Support the planning and management of seasonal OTB (Open-to-Buy), working closely with Buying to ensure stock investment aligns with budget and trading performance.
  • Build and maintain WSSIs, forecasts and trading plans to deliver against sales, margin and stock KPIs.
  • Analyse weekly and seasonal performance, identifying opportunities to drive sales, improve profitability and optimise stock levels.
  • Partner with Buying to develop commercially balanced assortments across brand, category, price architecture and customer demand.
  • Monitor sell-through, intake and vendor performance, making informed recommendations on trading actions and future buys.
  • Manage markdown strategy, stock levels and margin performance to maximise full-price sell-through and profitability.
  • Produce accurate reporting and analysis to support strategic decision‑making across Merchandising, Buying and wider business teams.
  • Build strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders to improve ways of working and drive business performance.
  • Stay informed on market trends, competitor activity and customer behaviour to support forecasting and commercial decisions.
  • Contribute to team development by supporting collaboration, sharing insights and championing the MR PORTER vision and values.
