MR PORTER are now seeking a Finance Business Partner to act as a strategic advisor to the brand’s leadership team. Partnering closely with cross-functional stakeholders, this role drives profitable performance, supports key decision-making, and helps optimise cost structures through clear, commercial financial insight.
Location: Our Westfield office in Shepherd’s Bush
Working Hours: 37.5 hours per week (4 days in office)

Responsibilities:
- Act as the primary finance partner to the MR PORTER business, supporting weekly trading reviews, strategic discussions, and end-to-end planning cycles.
- Build strong, trusted relationships with senior and cross-functional stakeholders, positioning finance as a proactive and commercially focused advisor.
- Lead the annual budgeting process and long-term planning for the MR PORTER P&L.
- Translate trading performance, market dynamics, and business initiatives into clear, robust financial forecasts.
- Deliver clear, insight-led and action-oriented financial analysis to support effective decision-making.
- Support monthly P&L reviews, providing deep insight into performance drivers, variances, and forward-looking risks and opportunities.
- Develop rigorous financial business cases for new initiatives, campaigns, and operational changes.
- Produce scenario modelling and sensitivity analysis to inform leadership decisions under uncertainty.
- Ensure strong financial governance, discipline, and cost control across key areas of the business.
- Partner closely with FP&A and Accounting teams to ensure accuracy, compliance, and consistency in financial reporting.
Qualifications:
- ACA/CIMA/ACCA qualified or equivalent.
- Strong commercial finance or business partnering experience (retail/ecommerce preferred).
- Ability to influence senior stakeholders with clarity and confidence.
- Exceptional modelling and analytical skills; comfortable working in fast-paced trading environments.
- Ability to simplify complexity, challenge constructively, and drive actions.
