Location: Westfield office in London

Reporting into: Finance Manager

Responsibilities:

• Oversee journal postings, reconciliations, and monthly close for multiple entities, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with PCAOB and SOX standards.
• Responsible for the preparation of statutory accounts for multiple UK entities and manage the year-end audit process, whilst being supported by the Finance Manager.
• Manage and develop a team of two Accounts Assistants, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback.
• Recommend and implement process improvements and innovative solutions to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
• Provide financial analysis and insights to support business decisions and improve operational efficiency.
• Collaborate effectively with both financial and non-financial teams, ensuring clear communication and alignment across the business.
• Maintain strong accounting controls to ensure compliance with PCAOB standards and relevant accounting regulations.
• Assist in the preparation of the monthly management pack and related financial reports.
• Participate in ad hoc finance projects and coordinate activities with external tax and accounting providers as required.
• Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of the company’s operations and how other departments impact financial performance.

Traits:

• SOX experience and strong technical accounting knowledge.
• Experience in multi-currency and intercompany reconciliations.
• Ability to be flexible in a changing environment and work to strict deadlines.
• Advanced Excel skills; knowledge of Dynamics 365 advantageous.
• Highly organised with excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to build relationships across the business.
• Project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders effectively.
• Driven, proactive, and eager to progress.

Qualifications:

• Experience in Audit and Assurance.
• Big Four background is preferred but not essential.
• Qualified ACA, ACCA, CIMA or post-qualification experience (PQE).
