We are looking for a confident, personable, and highly organised Guest Relations & Reservations Manager to lead the guest experience from arrival to departure. This role is responsible for managing reservations, overseeing the host team, maintaining exceptional service standards, and driving guest satisfaction while supporting venue growth through maximising covers and revenue opportunities. The ideal candidate is warm, proactive, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced hospitality environment. They will act as the face of the venue, ensuring every guest receives a seamless and memorable experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the host and reception team during service
- Deliver exceptional guest service and create a welcoming atmosphere
- Manage reservations, table planning, and seating strategy to optimise service flow
- Maintain strong communication with floor managers and kitchen teams
- Handle VIP guests, special requests, and guest feedback professionally
- Build relationships with returning guests and encourage repeat business
- Ensure smooth guest arrival and departure experiences
- Monitor booking trends and support strategies to maximise occupancy
- Train and support hosts to maintain high presentation and service standards
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of reception and entrance areas
- Assist with events, private dining bookings, and high-volume service periods
- Support social and promotional activity where required to drive reservations
- Provide weekly updates and reporting on covers, bookings, guest feedback and performance trends
- Build and maintain strong relationships with local concierges, hotels, nearby residences, and partner businesses to increase reservations
Requirements
