Hours: Monday to Friday 06:30 - 16:30

The Role:
To ensure that the yard is kept clean and tidy and equipment is stored in its designated area ensuring health and safety is adhered to at all times. Inspecting returned equipment for damage and re-fueling machines. Assist in the workshop to put stock away and keeping clean and tidy.
Key skills & Duties:
- Responsible for yard operatives
- Preparation of workshop area
- Preparation of the Yard area to include washing of machines and routine equipment maintenance
- Use of fork truck to move equipment around the yard and load-unload as required
- Supporting the engineers in making fleet available
- Assisting the engineers on site as required in recovering equipment
- Maintaining the tidiness of the workshop/yard
- Assist in preparing equipment for hire
- Assisting in stickering up new equipment
- Taking photos of the equipment returned in the yard, as required
- Be aware of any Health and Safety or environmental issues in the yard
- Maintain areas are not blocked, free walkways
- Rotate the stock of electrical machines and charge up as necessary
- Assist with Customers when they arrive, raising necessary paperwork
You:
- Driving license
- FLT license
- Previous experience in similar role desirable
- Works on own initiative
- Actively promotes health & safety
