Salary: Circa £40,000 per annum

Job Type: Full Time, Permanent

Hours: Mon-Fri 06:30-16:30 with a 60 minute unpaid break

LEEA Engineer - The Role: As a LEEA Engineer at MPH, you will be responsible for inspecting, servicing, maintaining, and repairing a wide range of lifting equipment and machinery to ensure it is safe, compliant, and fit for use. This role involves carrying out routine inspections, diagnosing faults, and completing repairs using specialist tools and equipment, in line with LEEA standards and health & safety regulations. You will play a key part in maintaining high safety standards, accurately completing service records, and escalating any significant faults or issues to management where required.

  • Inspect and maintain machinery and equipment
  • Diagnose, repair, and replace faulty components
  • Perform routine checks and safety inspections
  • Test equipment to ensure safe operation
  • Update service records and report faults
  • Use specialist tools safely and efficiently
  • Keep the workshop clean and follow PPE guidelines

LEEA Engineer - You:

  • Experience in a similar role, repairing and maintaining machinery or lifting equipment
  • Relevant qualifications (Plant & Machinery L2 NVQ desirable, IPAF, LEEA) and manufacturer training
  • Works independently and as part of a team
  • Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and computer literate
  • Committed to health & safety and PPE compliance
