We’re looking for a practical, hands on problem solver to help keep our Accommodation, Post Harvest, and Orchard sites running smoothly. What you’ll be doing?
- Completing a wide range of carpentry tasks including framing, decking, fencing, and repairs
- Installing and fitting doors, windows, cabinetry, and fixtures to a high standard
- Carrying out minor renovations, alterations, painting, and finishing work
- Performing concrete repairs and small slab work
- Conducting routine property inspections and preventative maintenance
- Diagnosing and troubleshooting building and maintenance issues
- Managing materials, supplies, and maintaining clean, safe work sites
- Supporting urgent repairs and participating in the on-call weekend roster (every second weekend)
What You’ll Bring:
- Proven experience in general building, carpentry, or general hand work
- Strong carpentry skills and confidence using hand and power tools
- Great problem solving ability and a proactive mindset
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well with others
- Good time management and the ability to prioritise in a busy environment
- A trade qualification (preferred)
- First Aid certificate (preferred)
- Working at Heights certification (preferred)
- Full driver’s licence
