Looking for an experienced programmer to create an Expert Advisor (EA) / automated trading robot. The bot should be able to monitor market conditions, execute trades on my behalf without manual intervention, manage risk, and optimize performance. The project includes requirements for MT4/MT5 platforms and trading on instruments such as XAUUSD (Gold) or other specified pairs.
Responsibilities
- Develop a fully automated EA that can open and manage trades without manual intervention.
- Implement strategy logic based on provided specifications (e.g., MACD cross, EMA trend filters, ZigZag drawings, Supertrend, candle patterns, high/low logic, etc.).
- Incorporate risk management features (stop loss, take profit, position sizing, max trades per day, spread/slippage filtering, etc.).
- Build or integrate indicators and controls as described (e.g., custom ZigZag via chart objects, EMA cross with 200 EMA, Supertrend, etc.).
- Provide configurable inputs and ensure compatibility with MT4/MT5 on symbols such as XAUUSD and other requested assets.
- Deliver a clear, testable implementation and be available for testing and iteration (demo/testing options may be discussed).
Qualifications
- Proven experience with MQL4/MQL5 development and building Expert Advisors for MT4/MT5.
- Strong understanding of trading strategies, indicators (MACD, EMA, Supertrend, ZigZag, candles patterns), and risk management concepts.
- Ability to read and implement detailed specifications and turn them into working EA code.
- Experience with creating dashboard components or organized project structure is a plus.
Project Notes
- Examples from the description indicate interest in ready-made bots, varying price ranges (e.g., 30–300+ USD depending on scope), and specific behavior rules such as: automated entries based on indicator signals, fixed SL/TP, and conditional entry rules (e.g., 200 EMA with Supertrend, high/low logic for entries).
- Some entries reference MT5 demo/testing and user-specific panel or UI preferences.
- All work should stay within MT4/MT5 environments and target gold (XAUUSD) or similar assets as specified.
