We are seeking a professional and reliable Tipper Driver to join our logistics team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for working with the planning team and should be able to load by themselves. Excellent time keeping is essential.
Duties:
- Plan routes efficiently to meet delivery schedules and optimise fuel consumption
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to identify any maintenance or safety issues
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and logs
- Uphold high standards of customer service during deliveries, including courteous interaction with clients
- Follow all health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others
Experience:
- Ideally have road planning experience
- Strong driving ability
- Familiarity with road safety regulations and best practices in commercial driving
- Ability to operate large vehicles confidently and safely over long distances
