What You’ll Do:
- Handle a range of administrative tasks, including photocopying, managing incoming/outgoing mail, and distributing documents for client assessments and reviews.
- Input and maintain data on divisional databases like WCCIS, ensuring accurate records for Adult Social Care services.
- Act as a point of contact, taking messages, managing telephone enquiries politely, and providing cover for other admin staff.
- Support the team by following health and safety responsibilities and contributing to the Council’s objectives for the community.
- Collaborate with partner agencies to ensure smooth operations, reporting to the Senior Administrative Officer.
What We’re Looking For:
- Skills: Competent with Windows-based IT programs (e.g., Microsoft Office), with strong data input and retrieval skills.
- Qualities: Reliable, communicative, and able to work independently or as part of a team, with a focus on achieving results.
- Experience: Relevant office-based experience, ideally with data quality processes and Windows-based systems.
- Requirements: Good standard of education (GCSE level); ability to travel to Ty Elai as needed; eligibility to work in the UK. No DBS required.
- Bonus Points: Experience in a social care setting or with the WCCIS system; Welsh language skills (Level 1 required, higher levels desirable—training provided).
